  38. 'CAROLUS ITALIC' is a high quality font containing full hinting for correct  
  39. rendering at small point sizes and a total of 105 kerning pairs for correct  
  40. character spacing. It is supplied 'as is' and no waranty is implied or given  
  41. by the author. The font is suitable for both headlines and body text, and  
  42. should render well down to 6 point. It is based on a printed specimen of hot  
  43. metal type of 'Carolus' supplied by the Mouldtype Foundry. The font contains  
  44. a full range of upper case letters with small capitals in place of the lower  
  45. case letters, together with the figures 0 to 9, a full range of punctuation,  
  46. plus a fair range of diacritics. It was hand traced in order to achieve a  
  47. high  
  48. quality outline and compiled using FontMonger Version 1.0.7. This font  
  49. represents aproximately 1000 manhours of work.
